About the Role
We're seeking a highly organized and motivated Assistant Program Director to help manage our summer programs. In this role, you'll work closely with the Program Director to ensure smooth operations across multiple program sites, coordinate logistics, manage supplies, and support instructors and participants. This position offers valuable hands-on experience in nonprofit program management, leadership, and operations.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the Program Director in planning, implementing, and evaluating summer programs
Coordinate daily logistics for multiple program tracks across various locations
Manage program supplies, equipment, and materials, including inventory, ordering, and distribution
Support staff and volunteers, helping to resolve issues and ensure program quality
Assist with participant management, including addressing concerns and enhancing the program experience
Help maintain accurate program records and documentation
Contribute to program communications with participants, families, and community partners
Support special events, including networking events and grant award celebrations
Assist with program evaluation and improvement efforts
Serve as a liaison between the main office and off-site program locations

Travel Requirements
Our positions require mobility and travel. Youth classes are conducted at local high schools or education buildings, not at our main office. Similarly, Tech It Easy classes are held off-site at nursing homes and adult care facilities throughout Cincinnati. However once you are assigned to an education building that will serve as your primary location. As an intern, you will be expected to travel to these various work sites and will only report to our main office once per week for team meetings and administrative tasks. Therefore, all applicants must possess a valid driver's license and be willing to travel approximately 25% of their work time. Additionally, our networking events and special programs are typically held at convention centers in the Cincinnati area. Reliable transportation is essential for this position, as you'll need to transport materials and equipment between locations. Please consider these travel requirements carefully before applying.

Requirements
Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills
