About the Role

About the Role: The Youth Tech Camp Instructor is a vital leadership role responsible for guiding our youth through immersive technology programs. Because this role carries a high level of responsibility, it is the perfect fit for current teachers, educators, or college students pursuing degrees in technology, science, or education. You will lead hands-on projects, facilitate engaging learning experiences, and help students build real-world tech skills in a fun, supportive environment.

Requirements


Responsibilities:

  • Lead instructional sessions for your assigned youth camp track, adapting curriculum to fit various learning styles.

  • Oversee a classroom of youth participants while maintaining a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment.

  • Guide students through hands-on projects from concept to completion.

  • Create fun and engaging lesson plans and activities.

  • Direct and collaborate with the Junior Camp Assistants to ensure all students receive individual help when needed.


Qualifications:

  • Experience working with youth in an educational, camp, or mentorship setting.

  • Strong knowledge or strong willingness to learn the technology relevant to your specific camp track.

  • Excellent communication, patience, and classroom management skills.

  • High proficiency in utilizing Google Workspace, Microsoft Teams, Connecteam, Coursera, and LinkedIn Learning.

  • Must be a college student, recent graduate, or professional in an education or STEM field.

  • Bachelor's degree preferred

Schedule and Commitment:

  • Mandatory training begins on May 22, 2026.

  • The core summer program runs from June 3 through August 7, 2026.

  • Standard summer hours operate Monday through Thursday between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM, featuring select free Fridays, though flexible schedules are available to accommodate volunteer needs.

  • Official start dates are contingent upon the successful completion of onboarding, training, and background check verification.
